Obstructed View Veranda

In my experience, the guarantee cabins on a Pinnacle class ship are usually around 10-20% less than a specific cabin (Verandah mega category).  Depends on the cabin location of course.  Sometimes you can get lucky and select a specific cabin (say in the VH category) for the same price, sometimes not.

For anyone still interested in the OP’s original question, I was in an obstructed balcony cabin on the Rotterdam for one day in April to isolate pending a second negative Covid test. I believe the cabin number was 4132. The tenders had just been out, but I’m pretty sure they were back in their normal position by the time I took this photo.

See if you can get a wider balcony room such as 4118 or 4133.  We stayed in a similar cabin on the New Statendam and loved it.  We are booked in 4118 on the Rotterdam for August 2022. Only a small portion is obstructed, the balcony is larger and you can view the walk around deck on the 3rd deck. It is a great value and a cabin favorite do or us.

Do you have a picture of the view?  We are looking into booking this cabin.  Thanks

Thank you for this! We booked 4133 on Rotterdam for the same large balcony (and hopefully slightly unobstructed view) reason.

Do you have a picture of what the view looked like from 4133?  We are looking into booking 4118 (which is the same but on the other side).

Thanks!

I have a video of 4118. We spent 21 days in this cabin. We enjoyed the balcony and it has a nice perspective along the port side of the ship towards the aft.

We weren’t disappointed in the view and we enjoyed watching them raise and lower #18 when it was being used in tender ports.
