Anthem of the Seas - Cabin Question

Wife and I are thinking about booking a 1 bedroom (GS) Grand Suite on the Anthem of the Seas in January. We have never sailed RC. Is a GS similar to the Haven on NCL? Similar perks. How / when do you go about purchasing passes for the thermal spa and solarium?

Thanks

Royal does not have an exclusive suite area like the haven.

I have never sailed in the Haven on an NCL ship so I cannot compare to anything there...but I will offer a word of caution about the Grand Suites on Anthem.  There is a wall that partially divides the "bedroom" from the "living room".  The TV is on that wall.  That wall makes the room feel sooo small and cramped. It's actually NOT that much smaller than other GS in the fleet (Anthem is 351 Sqft; Oasis is 371 Sqft).  It's just that it feels so much smaller. Anthem is a very narrow ship - particularly compared to the O class ships.  The rooms are, in general, just a bit smaller.

Don't get me wrong.  I loved sailing on Anthem.  I would sail on her again...but not in a GS.

We have been in a grand suite.  You have a living area with a tv, a bedroom and dressing area with another tv.  And a very large bathroom.  There is a heavy curtain between both rooms so you could watching tv in one and someone in the other and not hearing a thing.  You will have access to a private sun lounge over looking the pool area.  Enjoy it

RCL doesn’t have much to offer their suite guests in comparison to NCL Haven & especially MSC Yacht Club.
