Need help with most reasonable Seattle shuttles/transfers

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Looking for the most reasonable shuttles from the Seattle Airport to downtown hotels, and then again from that hotel to the pier that day of the cruise.  We like to have these things planned ahead instead of trying to figure it out when we get there.  Thanks to those who can help.

If you look down the board, you will find many discussions on transport methods and their costs. And specifying which pier you are sailing from is pretty important, as you could walk easily to Pier 66 from a couple of hotels.

Hotel to port, taxi is probably your best bet. In 2019, it was all of $13, before tip, from the Seattle Hilton to Pier 91.

We're going to staying in the Pioneer Square area and we'll be going to Pier 91...hopefully that info will help.  Thanks.

I would then read the many threads on the topic the last month or so, and take a cab from the hotel to the ship.

most shuttles have gone out of business.  You could take light rail to Pioneer Square easily if not much luggage.  A cab would be about $44.  I'd avoid the Courtyard in Pioneer Square however there are new hotels such as Embassy Suites which are very nice.  If you give more specifics I could be more helpful

For our 7/29 arrival SeaTac for the next day cruise departure, I booked a shuttle (private) with Capital Aeroporter. We were 4 adults going from the airport to the Fairmont Olympic downtown. Total amount was $114 with tax - not inexpensive but in my opinion, reasonable, and reliable.

It appears (on their website) they're now doing shared shuttles - might want to reach out to them.

From the hotel to the pier, we booked a private car with another company thru the hotel.

Good luck!

capitol air while not a new company the shuttle into downtown are new.  Glad to hear it worked but like most 'shared' shuttles.  A cab is $44 or so to downtown so there really is not cost savings.  Same from downtown to the pier, a cab or uber is likely to be less expensive.
