Deck Loungers - Apex or Edge

We are contemplating booking the Apex or Edge for Nov 2022, hopefully in a sunset veranda.  We are very familiar with the deck space on the Solstice ships & most times  ( pre COVID) the chairs were very close together, even on the deck above the pool. We are booked once again on the Reflection for this Nov, & hopefully with the reduced capacity it won’t be bad & at least the very top deck has not been converted to the Retreat just yet.

Given that the “E” class have dedicated the top deck for the Retreat, does anyone know if there are any areas to compensate for this loss. The lack of deck space for outdoor lounging is probably one our biggest negatives. Unfortunately, a suite is not in our budget if we want to do several cruises a year.

Appreciate any info that can be shared.

We were on the Edge at full capacity and thought that the pool area was less crowded than on the S & M class.  We never had a problem finding loungers in the vicinity of the pool whether we showed up at 9 or noon.

While the Retreat Sun Deck takes up space  it also reduces the number of passengers using the main pool decks.

You can also ask for 2 loungers for your verandah, if there aren’t any already in place.

Thank you - very encouraging!

Thank you -thought of that , but we also enjoy being out on deck. It’s time to give the ship a try!
