How much should annupgrade be when you get free cruise lets say inside .

what about from O v to balcony …is thete a way to figure out ?

i.m not happy with my pvp with Holland  my guy left , his replacement left too, now this new lady over charged me and did not explain things to me as she should have 

how cannI fix overcharge and get new pvp

You will get no benefit in doing an upgrade. You basically are just starting from scratch.

Presuming the "free cabin" is upgradeable, you should be able to subtract the cost of the inside from the cost of the more expensive ocean-view or balcony. How were you overcharged? You do have to pay taxes and port charges. The offer may not of been upgradeable.

Not every free stateroom is upgradeable...the casino deals are often capacity limited.

 

That being said, I can almost always get a casino discount on any booking I make.  It usually comes to around $300-$400 per person.  That discount is different from the 'free stateroom' offer though.

There is no rule that says you have to stay with a particular HAL rep. Just call HAL and tell whoever answers that you have a question about the price you were charged. Have them review all the details. Simple call - but with new covid regulations you may have a very long wait to talk to someone.

I just had a "free" interior offer but on the sailing I wanted they were all forward on deck 1..not to my liking. I did upgrade to an oceanview, with the Labor Day Have It All package (which includes crew tips) so my new price is approximately $1900 plus port charges and taxes. Like my husband said, there is nothing "free" but it's a great marketing tool.
