Bingo was a bust. Next we went to the casino which was also a bust.

I grabbed a famous kummelweck sandwich.20211005_164346.thumb.jpg.a877d017fb1432a468733068658fe428.jpg

That was my first time trying it and I agree that was really good.

Down at the cruise next now to see about donating more money to the cruise restart fund. 😆

I thought the show was good. M disagrees. It wasn't something I would watch again but I thought it was good for a cruise ship show. The singing and choreography were both really good.

Browsing the shops now then off to dinner.

Casino was much better tonight. I am even for the day. I could have been up a little but I got a little reckless with my betting.

I'm back in the room. Calling it for now. Tomorrow we will be in Costa Maya.

Goodnight everyone.

Lunch was at coastal kitchen.

None of the appetizers looked appealing so I got the grilled cheese as an appetizer without the fries and salad that came with it.

That was different but very good. Best part of the meal.

For my main i got the royal chicken sandwich and the seafood linguine Alfredo.

The chicken was a little dry but not bad. The pasta was good but I had too lunch food by this point to fully enjoy it.

Dessert was a maple honey pie which was good.

Yesterday while I was in the room getting ready for dinner M was in the casino and she heard two people talking about two people onboard doing live reviews and one of us was in the casino but they didn't know who I was.

I asked her why she didn't speak up but she said what was I supposed to say "yea thats my friend I know him"

Yea I guess that would sound corny but hello out there whoever you are.

Staying onboard won the vote for today. There are a lot of activities. Mariner had very little to do for people who stayed on the ship. Our itinerary for this lazy port day:

2pm trivia

2:15 adult coloring

3 trivia

3:30 Northstar

4 trivia

5 bumper cars probably unless we get up to some bingo again.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that!!  Not that it mattered.

I would have been happy with some on demand tv even but they didn't even have that.

After dinner we went to the show in 270. It was called The Book: 7 stories one adventure. I liked it but still wasn't really blown away. M said it was the best show she's ever seen on a cruise ship.

Both shows received standing ovations.

Now we are off to the casino.

Casino was good to me tonight. I was back even for the trip at one point. Still up about 100 for the day. Hoping to keep the momentum going.

Good morning everyone.

We are in Cozumel today.

I think the plan is to take a taxi downtown there was a statue M saw here she liked last time and didn't buy. I don't know how she thinks she will find it again neither of us remember where she saw it and it was before the pandemic but she is going to give it a shot.

love the coastal kitchen pics! i'm in my first suite on oasis in jan... we also got a 3-night package, so you're helping me decide which nights to go to CK and which to use at specialties 🙂

Some of the food has been a miss but overall really really good. If it were up to me it would eat coastal kitchen every day 🙂 especially considering I will probably never eat here again.

Lunch was good again. It is a repeat of day one since there are only 4 lunch menus for coastal kitchen.

For my starter I ordered the Serrano wrapped dates.

After that we got off in Cozumel. We got about five steps and M was over it and we made it a stay on the ship day - my favorite.

We took it easy this afternoon with some trivia and a game of trivia pursuit we brought onboard. The library is part of 270 so we had to leave so they could get set up for the show. Odd choice to out the library here.

We also grabbed a small bite at El loco fresh to hold us till our late dinner plans.
