my tests expire 10/15. I bought them the first part of September. Huge rip-off and then my first test was defective. They offered to send a replacement. So it can expire too? No thanks.

I understand the Fda extended the shelf life by 3 months so if emed honors that I may get some use out of them yet. Especially if I need one tomorrow.

My friend will almost definitely need one. She missed her appointment and rescheduled, did it this morning.

Yes, based on other posters the printed expiration date is wrong.  They were originally approved for 6 months but the FDA extended the expiration date because the tests are still good.  Were made to have longer shelf life than 6 months.

I see your second test was defective or was positive and you want another opinion.  Good luck on finding and getting a negative test.  Want to read your review.  We're on in April and my boss is on in January.

Defective. I'm gonna start driving an hour for a rapid test once I use these up. This is the second one out of four that has been defective. The place by my job is convenient but only offers pcr.

If you still have the box can you take a picture of the lot number and any other numbers that are on there? I’m wondering how many defective tests are out there or do you think it was something else?

Yeah, I have to take my test next week using these and I’m freaking out a little. We have 2 for each in our family, but I’m worried now that some might be defective. Tests at CVS and Walgreens are hard to get in my area, so if these are duds we’ll be scrambling.

I'm falling behind on this live thing lol. I'll get caught up its just been a bit of a crazy day. My luck followed me onboard with some issues I'll cover in a little bit.

I'm heading to trivia with my friend. Let's go ahead  and call her M so I can stop typing my friend each time lol.

Hoping my luck has turned around now and I can win me a Keychain 🙂

I wonder how you got 2 defective tests.  I know they are temperature sensitive.  Did your shipment sit outside in the heat?

Happy to hear you found a plan c and you are onboard.  Have a great cruise😊

I don't but I do have two left at home I imagine would be from the same lot I will post when I get back.

Two from the lot have been good, but when you look at the inside the pink dye that is in the panel that turns to one or two lines does not appear to be present in the ones that were invalid. The dye is visible in the ones that eventually worked.

So the test....

After royal hung up on me I Googled rapid testing near ft.lauderdale. I found a place in Davie that did not even mention pricing but it was the best option I could find so I booked it.

In a last minute hail Mary my results from CVS arrived just before 1pm a full 51 hours after testing. My prior longest wait was 37 hours and I had a 72 hour window at the time. I am very thankful I did not have to pay whatever they were going to charge for a test.

Casino is proving to be a formidable opponent. Taking a break for dinner. At coastal kitchen. For clarification, M received permission for me to dine with her because she is traveling solo and they had the room to accommodate me. It may not be something they can do every time.

Still waiting to hear back about the suite lounge, but I am happy with dinner if that is all they can do for us.

Dinner was amazing.

For my starter I got the pork belly.

Very unlike any pork belly I've gotten before but very very good.

For my main I ordered the filet and spicy sausage rigatoni

That filet was better than anything I've gotten at chops. Seriously one of the best filets I've ever eaten. Even the sides on the plate were amazing. Super fantastic dish.

The rigatoni was a miss, but seriously I was still on a steak high at this point so I didn't even care.

For dessert I got the chocolate praline tart and hazelnut cake.

The tart was another slam dunk. The cake was too dry and I ate around it.

Dinner was superb.

After dinner I came back to the casino and got on a pretty good run.

I was up about 600 on this game at one point. This was my first good run in ages. Since before the pandemic so I am happy with my gaming experience tonight. I'm up about $40 still so we'll call it a free night of gambling 🙂

I'm exhausted. I have not even unpacked yet thats how busy I've been so far. Had a great first day with some challenges early in.

I'm back in the room now going to get settled in and call it a night. Tomorrow is coco cay and even though I've been a few times this will be my first time getting out and exploring.

Enjoying your review as usual. And wow-Coastal Kitchen.

Thanks for following along again glad to have you onboard. Coastal kitchen has been amazing so far. I've been trying to convince M we should cancel our specialty dining.
