We signed up on board for a 7 night junior suite tour and when the onboard agent got done it was $1400 for 2 people. What we saw online when we looked in the ship library it was about 30% more. And 1 other time we got an excellent rate on a grand suite while looking at a junior suite. Pre-price what you like before you get on board and then meet with the Next Cruise agent and see what they can do. It's worth a shot.

Early Nov on Liberty of the Seas. Booked "Next Cruise" 7 day Balcony

Lower Deposit:
Paid $200 deposit rather than $500 ($100 per person rather than $250).

Onboard Credit:
Received $100 OBC per room.  

 

Flexibility:

Reservation holds as placeholder. Once you get home you can move change ships and dates if desired for I think 30 days at published prices and deposit rolls to new itinerary.  

 

The price quoted within Next Cruise was exactly what was listed on main website.

If afterwards there is a price drop and you call in for a reprice, do they allow you to keep the original OBC or is the new OBC only based on the price difference and you forfeit the Original OBC bonus.

On board booking OBC should always stay.
