Thermal Spa closure?

Hi,

Since NCL has gone back to wearing mask on board do you think they might close the thermal spas on their ships? Not even sure how that would work with masks?

I was wondering the same thing, how about the sales of the spa pass, would they cancel those? I can't imagine being in the steam room or thereabouts with mask on 🙄

We cancelled our Spa Pass's (sailing on the Breakaway on 1-16-2022)

Have decided to wait until we board and check out what the status of the Spa is

No. They have kept them open. Not sure that there is a need for further speculation and “what if”. Protocols are fluid and subject to change. But they are open now.

hope so as the SPAs are great on NCL and better than other ships.

NCL does (at least on newer ships) a great job.  I went to visit a new Carnival ship's SPA and busted out laughing at the size of the spa.  

 

I have done Escape and Bliss SPAs and were so enjoyable

On the Epic in Europe we were required to wear masks indoors except when eating and drinking or in the steam rooms/sauna and thalassotherapy pool however the capacity in each was severely restricted.

I am on the Ncl  encore right now. Spa pass is $316 pp for 7 day. They are offering one day passes while In port. Did a walk thru when we boarded. Masks are being worn- it was pretty empty. The thermal spa gets no outside fresh air- not sure how cove safe it is…..
