nice meal at Sabatini’s.  Service was slow until we mentioned we had somewhere to be soon.  Some of the things we would order again, some we wouldn’t. Ate too much and suffered for it later! Unless I missed something, you didn’t mention how the evening shows were? Also, were there a lot of trivia and game shows, as well as other entertaining things to do, in the evening and on sea days?

Hi Ken, I have been enjoying your cruise updates on the Constellation.  We are going out of Tampa for the first time on her in February.  

The only show we attended in the main theater was Rock Opera and we really liked it.  Great singing. 

There were a lot of trivia and game shows and were held in Princess Live.  We did not attend but they looked popular.

We had some liquid sunshine in St Lucia especially in the morning. We think it is such a gorgeous island. Last time in fall 2019 we had a very special private taxi tour and had lunch at Dasheen at Ladera Resort.  Wonderful day.  This time, we stayed onboard but still enjoyed seeing the surrounding mountains.  (Noisy town though from our aft balcony!  Lots of traffic and people on Christmas Eve!)

Sail away.  Love this time of day.  We do enjoy a nice daylight sailaway from our balcony and maybe a cocktail or two perhaps.

Christmas Dinner in the MDR was very special.  Our first Christmas onboard a ship and we really had a very nice time.  Princess made it special.

Christmas in Antigua.  We have been here a few times in the past so just stayed on the ship and had a very nice day.  Great view from the balcony and even was peaceful and relaxing.

These next four photos are screen shots of the cocktails, liquors, water/soda and beer, etc that can be ordered to the stateroom or the pool or anywhere you are located.  The Medallion you are wearing or holding will allow the staff to locate you.  We do have screen shots from the Medallion App of particular liquors and cocktails available if anyone is interested. It really was nice to have the drink package so we didn’t have to worry about costs.  

 

The service was incredibly fast.

Hi April, I think you could get off in St Lucia if you had a government approved tour so I think you could book ahead of time as long as they are an approved company.  We didn’t get off the ship here so someone else might answer better.

Our wonderful MDR staff, Komang and Angelito.  It doesn’t get much better than these two gentlemen.  We will definitely look for them in June and cross our fingers that they are onboard.

Thanks. That’s one thing we enjoy about both Princess and Celebrity cruises is the number of assistant CDs (or whatever they’re currently called) which translates into multiple entertainment options to consider on evenings and sea days!

 

You'll enjoy your time on the Constellation as we have had a lot of fun on her so far these past two weeks. Our next Princess cruise will be through the Panama Canal on the Caribbean Princess right after she gets out of dry dock in late April. 😎
 

BTW if I might ask, how many passengers are on your cruise? We have 1350 on the Constellation on this leg with a capacity for around 2100.

Ken, I wish i could say for sure but I truly have no idea.  It surely wasn’t crowded. I did read someone else comment on another topic entry that there were approx 1600 for the Christmas cruise.

We have previously sailed the Connie and love her.  It was our first time in a Celebrity Sky Suite and we were surely spoiled.  Look forward to another trip on her.

Have a great rest of the cruise.  I loved your sloth photo!

My DW took about 20 photos of that sloth slowly moving around the tree as our tour guide wanted to make sure everyone got plenty of photos before moving on. But that one was her favorite.

Thanks for this comprehensive review. I was on Sky in early December and found many of the same things. Food was ok, service was mostly excellent (the bar staff in Bellinis and the Casino Host being the only exception) and the ship was in top shape. I absolutely loved the medallion and it’s mostly on this feature alone that I have booked four more cruises on Princess.

Thanks so much for posting this wonderful review and especially the pictures of the cabin. We are also on the Sky in Cabin D731 which should be pretty similar to yours. We have been looking for pictures because we weren’t sure how the solid wall on the aft cabin would feel….now we know and I think we will love it!
