jrkat69 Posted January 7, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2022 Has anyone here used Curative Labs for their covid test and was it accepted by Royal? Just had a test and the report issued has everything but a CLIA number they say is required per Royal website. It's also an RT-qPCR test. My cruise isn't till March 6 but want to figure out if they can be used or if I need another plan. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. Rare Kellie in Texas Posted January 7, 2022 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2022 Our son did a Curative test several days ago (girlfriend tested positive; thankfully son was negative). The email he got with his results had an attached report with all the details. The report did have a lab number, supervisor's name and a CLIA #. I think Royal's website says CLIA # or a certification number, so maybe there's another number on your report.
gone_cruis Posted January 7, 2022 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2022 Family group of 20 used Curative on Adventure of the Seas departure Dec. 29, 2021. 1 child under 5 had the regular PCR which took about 20 hours to get results, all others took rapid PCR and got results within an hour. No issues at port with accepting results.

vplsh Posted January 9, 2022 #6 Share Posted January 9, 2022 We've been using Curative for several months, both before and after starting to cruise again. They have been excellent, and we have gotten our results quickly. That being said, we are finding it harder to get an appointment in the past two weeks, as the demand has risen. Looking for an appointment for our local site today, the earliest testing time is next Saturday afternoon. Makes it difficult if someone is experiencing symptoms or has been exposed, but would be fine for a cruise.
shipgeeks Posted January 12, 2022 #7 Share Posted January 12, 2022 We just made appointments for our Feb. cruise. The site says there are 400+ appointments per half hour at this one site (a van)! Yikes! Good to know their test (RT-qPCR) is acceptable to RC (at least according to posters above).
Rare little britain Posted January 12, 2022 #8 Share Posted January 12, 2022 Our hotel in FLL is offering this for free for international guests like us! Just a little worried about getting our results back in time.
