Can you use FCC for flights by celebrity?

No. Cruise fare only.

Cannot use FCC to pay tax/port charge either.

As d has pointed out, FCC is only for cruise fare because airfare has almost always been refunded if purchased through CA... and is a separate transaction from the cruise even if it appears as though it is the same.

I guess you could technically use a FCC for a flight.    If you book a flight through Flights by Celebrity  with your cruise, there is no payment due until final payment and it is added to you invoice total for the cruise.   The other side of the argument is you are paying for the flight and applying the FCC to the Cruise Only.  

 

I just recently did this and applied multiple FCC's toward the invoice total and it included my flight.  This will only work if you book prior to Final Payment.   For me the Flight was much smaller than what I owed for the cruise.

Just wanted to chime in and agree with what Jim said.

 

Background

Cruise booked with Celebrity many moons ago and final payment was due January 28. I had FCC I was going to use to apply to the balance due on the 28th.

3 weeks prior to final payment I found flights through 'Flights with Celebrity' that were too good to pass up, so I booked with/through them. The cost of the flights were added to the balance due on January 28.

 

Called Celebrity on January 27, used FCC to pay balance (which included the flights) all paid for with FCC.
