Check in/Arrival Time Question

We are finally 45 days from sailing!!!!!

I just checked in on-line with all my information but it says to check back closer to sailing for Arrival time?  

Has this happened to anyone else?

Anyone know how close to sailing will the arrival times open up?

 

I get the same response from the mobile app as I do using a computer??

Hello  I checked in a few minutes after midnight 45 days out, live in NJ so I could an early check in time, 11:00 and was able to do it without a problem.

You'll get an e-mail from RC letting you know check-in is open.  I've been able to check in as early as 45 days before the sail date and as little as 30 days.

I tried checking in at 9:15 So Cal time thinking it was after midnight back East and could not even check in.

I was able to check in a couple of hours later but I am still getting the arrival time not available via the app and the computer.

 

Wondering if I want to brave the on hold times to try and call Royal???

One needs to be careful extrapolating your experience to all cruisers - some folks here may start complaining when they didn’t get an email because you said they’d get one. Virtually all answers on CC need some qualifier and when it comes to RCI IT, assume it won’t happen.

We were not able to get our check-in time until about 42 days out.  What May help is your cruise Roll Call.  Ask if anyone has been able to check in yet.  There is a good chance someone will post when they are able.  That is what work for us.

So this same thing happened with checking in for a May 4th sailing out of Seattle.  We were able to check in 45 days out, but got that same message about arrival time. We checked daily and finally on April 6th, we were able to choose a time.  So keep looking daily.

This is a common situation right now.  It is 38 days out on my Symphony of the Seas cruise and many people on social media can't get a check in time either.  Just wait and check a couple of times a day.  I agree don't depend on an email, it most likely will not happen, at least immediately when available.
