Sea Pass Card Question

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if Royal Caribbean still lets you take the money you have on your Sea Pass as cash once the Casino Opens?  Haven't been on a cruise in a while and just wondering if this is still possible.

Thank you,

Curlyhaired

We put our card in a slot machine, load the cash from our account, and then cash out.

Certainly works on Symphony.  You just do a transfer from room account on a slot machine.  Never saw a fee for that.  As I recall you can charge something like $5000 to your room during a cruise - you don't have to have cash there in advance.  Don't remember exact amount because we normally just use cash.

Can't put money back on room account - you need to cash out the ticket and then go to Guest Services if you want to do that.

So if your on a European Cruise, and have a credit card as payment on your Seaass account--then down load cash unto a slot machine--then cashout and take the cash to a cashier to cash out....1. Do you get US dollars? 2. Will you have to pay a foreign transaction fee on that particular transaction?

Thanks.

You get US dollars. There is no foreign transaction fee. All currency on the ships are in US dollars.

Slot machine...no fees to cash out.   I think it's 10% fee at the tables.

Island lady is worried the casinos will stop the pull of non-refundable OBC from the slots.  😮

I always feel like I should at least play a hand or two before I hit "cash out".   Did this on Harmony last week...put in my 110.00 I had left, and hit play.  Thought there was something wrong with that penny slot machine...it kept spinning.

In the end it stopped and showed 220.20 balance.  Huh?   Quickly cashed out.  😉
