Casino on Bliss in Alaska

What are the casino hours sailing the Alaskan Cruises? And, has anyone done the 5 day precruise tour from Fairbanks, looking to find the hotel that we will stay at pre trip. We will be in Fairbanks the day before it starts and would really like to stay in the same hotel 2 nights in a row instead of switching, any ideas? Thanks all.

Has been awhile since we did an Alaska cruise(2005) , but am pretty sure the rules are the same as most places. Three miles off the coast  the casino opens. Don't believe they are open in any Alaska ports, unlike Bermuda, where they are open from 9:00PM to 5:00 AM. Happy Sailing!!

We were on the Bliss 4/30 from Seattle. As cruiserbear55 mentioned, the casino wasn't open while in port. It was probably for the best as I lost my gambling money super fast! Like crazy fast! 😲 So I'd go up to the Observation Lounge with a good book and enjoy a cocktail instead. 🙂 DH fared slightly better in the casino - meaning it just took him a bit longer to lose his planned gambling money. Those machines were TIGHT! Good luck to you 🙂

Unlike toilet flushes, math (probability) works exactly the same way down under.

For a Seattle R/T:

On embarkation day, the casino opens late after you clear Washington State/Canadian waters.

Other days, the casino is open while the ship is underway (never when in port)

In the past, the casino was closed on the last day after entering Canadian/Washington State waters. Last year, when there was no Canadian port call, the casino was open later on the last day (with the ship only heading in to arrive in Seattle on time). This year, I would expect it to be like before with the casino close the entire last day.
