Davina Bahamas: Shorts in Dining Room?

Are shorts ever allowed in the dining room on the shorter (4 night) cruises on the Davina?

How about in the casino?

Yes and yes.  There was a guy wearing a baseball jersey unbuttoned with nothing on underneath in the dining room.  I don't think they enforce a dress code.  
Personally, I wore shorts to the casino.

Wearing shorts in the casino?  OK in my opinion.  In the dining room, for breakfast and lunch, OK.  For dinner, No.  Where does the person think he/she is dining?  Golden Corral?

Back in the golden days of cruising, dining in shorts would not even have been considered.  However in these days of mega ships, multiple dining venues, dine "any time" options, and relaxed formality, I don't see a big problem with shorts on casual evenings.

My main reason for taking a Davina cruise is to get to the ports, and I don't care much to dress up anymore.
