texasgirl29 Posted June 7, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2022 We have EZ Air for a transatlantic cruise with booking on American Airlines. I have a couple of questions: I know that Princess pays at 45 days out. Our cruise is 87 days out and paid in full. We are happy with our flights and the price. Will requesting early ticketing on the EZ air site help to avoid any problems with schedule changes? Our names on the AA app look like this: Firstmiddle Last. Is this normal for AA? Thanks, JoAnn
clueless2 Posted June 7, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2022 The names on our AA flights thru EZAir look exactly the same. I read somewhere it's always that way and won't cause a problem. I guess I'll find out in September!
GweninTX Posted June 7, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2022 We use American a lot and our names are often jumbled together and odd looking, but we have never had an issue

This is what PCL is SUPPOSED to do and what their past practice has been and what they CLAIM to do. However, many members here on CC are reporting ticketing not happening then, but much closer to travel date than is comfortable for some. I'd keep a close eye on any air reservations. electricguy Posted June 7, 2022 #6 Share Posted June 7, 2022 I requested early ticketing yesterday for our August cruise with flights to London and they showed up on American today as ticketed.

No…when airlines make schedule changes it affects all passengers regardless of how flights are booked.
