do ferries on weekends turn people away

We are docking at the Royal Naval Dockyard on a weekend, so there is a limited ferry schedule to Hamilton.  There are two ships in port that day, ours and another large ship (NCL).  Do the ferries get full and turn away passengers on the weekend?  I just have no idea how large they are in comparison to the number of cruise ship passengers trying to reach Hamilton.

I've not had that issue and I have docked at the Dockyard many times. The first or second ferry of the day can be crowded, but usually not at capacity.

NCL operates its own complimentary ferry for their passengers to St Georges so that takes a lot of the pressure off the normal ferries.

The OP's question was specifically about ferries to Hamilton on weekends, so NCL's private ferry to St. George's is of no consequence one way or the other.

Agree-- but is siphons off a bunch of NCL passengers who might otherwise take the Hamilton ferry.

Unless there is some special event on the weekend it is not likely the ferries will be full. Cruise passengers have a lot of options of things to do. A lot of passengers head to the beach. Others do tours and boat excursions.  If you don’t arrive at the last minute you won’t even have to worry about it at all.

If the weekend day we're speaking of is Sunday,  the NCL ferry does not run to St. George.

Thanks.  Luckily we are docking on a saturday, but that's helpful to know for the future.  Really nice of ncl too, especially on a saturday when the bermuda ferries won't run there. Thankfully we found stuff for the kids in the Royal naval dockyard and near hamilton so we are all set.
