Getting reinburst for COVID test

I say a comment on another post about a person who submitted the EMed cost to their insurance and was reinburst. I tried it and just received a check for the full amount. It is worth a try to see if your insurance company will do the same.

I've looked at mine and they cover $15 per travel related test.  Worth taking a look.

Yup. We have BCBS and got either $12 or $15 back per test.

Ours gave us $12/test, which I think is the minimum lol.

We also sent our test receipt in to be reimbursed.  They reimbursed the cost of the emed tests along with the freight cost.  I was surprised.

They have to reimburse you at least $12 per test.  Some will reimburse you the whole thing if they don't have their own "in network" test availability.
