Future Cruise Credit Delay Problem

Anyone having a delay in receiving a FCC to apply to another upcoming cruise? We had purchased a cruise in February to the Black Sea and decided that with all the changes it would not be of any interest. We were all paid up.  We asked if we could apply our payment for a cruise in August and have still not had confirmation that our FCC has been transferred to our new cruise. The cruise company advertised that we could make the switch when we booked the original cruise.   We need to book our flights from the US since it is a Med cruise but since we are not confirmed we are hesitant to take a chance.

Anyone else having problems with this matter.

You can look up your unused FCCs on the personalizer. This includes both assigned and unassigned ones. When you hover your mouse over the "Log in / Register" drop down (if not yet logged in) otherwise hover over the "My Account" drop down and you will have an option to go to Future Cruise Credits. There you'll see what Princess thinks the status is.

I responded hours ago, but don’t see my post.

We cancelled in Feb and the FCC’s were posted about 3 weeks later.  You should have had them by now.  You can see them on your account.

As @beg3yrsstated you can see

the history also.

I assume the TA that booked it would show it was used for your booking.

What did they say?  Did you ask them to check with PCL for you?  I would call them right away for help.

I got my FCC back in bits & pieces when I cancelled with confidence.

have your TA or Princess look into it. Your account will have 1/2 & cabin mate will have 1/2 in their account.

We had problems as well. I asked my TA to check into it and she ended up on hold with Princess for hours just like we do. Tried several times without success.
Princess puts the FCCs back into your account with no real explanation of what's  what. I tried to decipher what and where the refund FCCs went. The only amount that were returned to me was the taxes and that went back on my credit card.  I had been expecting the $2000 gift card amount to go back to the gift cards and the rest  FCCs.      I finally got someone at Princess to break it down for me.  There was no rhyme or reason to how they were listed.  It helped that I knew exactly how much I was owed($13,000ish) and the rep helped me put it all together.  This was at least 2 months after I canceled with confidence.

It really depends in how it was paid, as others have stated. Some if ours was credit card and old FCC’s, etc.  But, you definitely should have it deposited since March.
Let us know.

It gets confusing here as even Princess uses language that isn't consistent.

FCC - Future Cruise Credit as used by Princess means the $100 you spend for a Future Cruise Deposit (FCD) along with OBC (On Board Credit) that varies depending on your cruise length and type of stateroom selected.

The $100 deposit is applied to your booking as part of the total cruise fare. You can use it for any type of fare, basic, Plus or Premiere (not sure if there's an 'e' at the end or not).

Are you asking about the OBC (on board credit) that comes with the FCC? If that's the case, yes, in advance that OBC can be used to book excursions but not for transfers and isn't applicable to the packages. Once on board, any remaining OBC is a credit to your shipboard account and you can pretty much pay for anything with it, even the casino.

This post will definitely confuse people.

We have had the same issue. We were told we would get FCC for a Baltics cruise cancelled in March and a refund of the balance within 30 days. However this never materialized and we had intended to use it to book a cruise for May but were unable to rebook. We have now managed to transfer to a September cruise as we had the FCC in mid June but Princess lost out as they would have had the money for another too. The FCC was not appearing on the account in personaliser and still isnt.
