Koningsdam heading to Vancouver

Lol....after such a long time with no cruise ships up the Vancouver Island inside passage, was excited to go camping this weekend so I could see the Koningsdam....and there's a wood chip barge in the way!!

We spent.a week on Vancouver Island b/4 Covid on a Road Scholar trip.  We sailed to Alaska on a HAL ship, debarked in Victoria (with special arrangements) and joined the Road Scholar group for a bus trip up the island and then took the ferry back to Vancouver.   It was a wonderful 2 week vacation.

 

Nice pictures of the Koningsdam, my favorite HAL ship!

Pics are great; I have marked the mid-ships one with our Vista Suite for a B2B next Dec/Jan! Over the New Year which is also our 32nd anniversary!

Oops, I can't even keep track of my bookings. My 2024 cabin is a verandah also on PORT side, Sun Deck. 

 

 

We like this location better (near the Crows Nest!), but "needed" to choose a Vista Suite to use up the FCC from March 2020, that is set to expire at end of year.

Happy Anniversary! we will be celebrating 30 yrs in Alaska in a couple of months!

Yes, we would have cruised on or near our 30th, but you know what happened to that idea!
