I was reading the "Princess Now Soliciting Families w/Children" thread, and realized I have not yet seen a single comment about the most recent Princess Cruises commercial I am seeing now.

I commented in that thread:

I found a 30-second clip legally available to share, and thought I would post a link here if permitted, for those of you who haven't seen it yet. . .

  • RSS from SF changed the title to Princess Cruises' Vegas-parallel commercial: "Dreaming of escape? . . . . What happens here stays with you forever"

I’ve seen this ad. There’s one I see on Facebook with a Priyanka Chopra look alike showing you all the Instagram worthy moments of a princess cruise. Princess cruises on TikTok is clearly trying to appeal to a younger crowd too.

I'll get to this quote from the commercial in a bit, but first @RSS from SF, thank you for posting the link to that commercial.  I've seen Celebrity and NCL commercials that were similar.

OK, back to the quote.  I was overwhelmed by the heavy feeling of irony.  Certain passengers onboard certain sailings of the Diamond, Grand, and Ruby Princess ships had something "happen" that stayed with them "forever", as in "the short remainder of the rest of their lives".  😵 I'm sure this is NOT what Princess intended, but something I immediately thought of.  Maybe I'm just weird.  🙃
