Can't find update info on being Celebrity Elite Plus

We are sailing in September.  Having another couple coming with us.  They have never sailed Azamara, but are Elite Plus on Celebrity.  Does anyone know if the reciprocal benefits been severed?  If they have not, do they need to let Azamara know they are Elite Plus?  Any knowledge is appreciated.  Thanks

The reciprocal status with Celebrity contunues. They need to make sure they register their Captain's Club number against the booking. They will then be Discover Plus on Azamara and should get the benefits of that, although the website indicates they have to have at least sailed once on Azamara. I don't think that is the case and they will still get their Discoverer Plus perks when they step onboard. Perhaps someone can correct me on this if I'm wrong.

I believe you are correct Phil.  Earlier statements all assumed that the IT separate would have occurred by now.

We just got off Azamara Quest, Aug 8 and yes, we got the reciprocal benefits as Elite + on Celebrity.  We have already received our points on both Captains Club and Azamara Circle.  i wish this would continue till next May when we sail Azamara again.

The good thing is that once someone sails with AZ, all the accumulated points with Celebrity will stay on their AZ account after the split.  But not if they didn't sail AZ until after the split.
