We did not know that.

The books are a good read, but looong ! The last one was around 900 pages long.

If you plan to read them, I strongly suggest you read them in chronological order.

We disembarked this morning.  LOVED this cruise!  The crew was one of the best we've ever had.  I hope you all enjoy it as much as we did! 🙂

So glad to hear this! I know some that were on your cruise also.

Hope they enjoyed it like we did.  This is the 2nd time we've done BI, and I could easily do it again (and likely will!!!!).  We thoroughly enjoyed the Emerald.  Thought the staff were stellar.  We didn't allow the little "first world problems" (ie not having the wine we wanted, etc) to bother us.  Recognized  that the crew worked VERY hard to make it as enjoyable as it was, and accepted things as they came.

Outstanding! That should keep my other half occupied for a while. 😁

When your other half has read them, the TV adaptations,  made by  the BBC are a good watch, if you can track them down. PBS ?

I prefer to read books first, and then watch the TV adaptations later.

Whilst I love your photographs,  I do wonder if you are spending too much time snapping and posting,  rather than just relaxing and enjoying  your holiday !

Less is more !

I snap regardless and am not wasting too much time sorting or explaining the pictures. Captions are the time consumer. My enthusiasm will wane with sleep deprivation. But thank you for your concern.

When you are retired, everyday is a holiday.
