ms Eurodam and ms Koningsdam in Juneau September 5, 2022

Eurodam will be at the CT dock from 1pm to 10pm.

 

Koningsdam will be at the AS dock from 1pm to 10pm.

 

Also in port are Crown Princess at the Franklin Street dock (noon-10pm) and Celebrity Solstice at the AJ dock (1:30pm-10pm).

 

Once again rain is in the forecast with "showers early, becoming a steady rain later in the day".  The high will be 56F/13C and the low 49F/9C.  Sunrise is at 6:06am and sunset at 7:45pm.

Good afternoon, 

I'm currently on the Eurodam. At his noon talk the Captain said we'd be in the channel about 11:00 AM and he expected us to be docked by noon. We haven't changed clocks yet and he didn't specify if it was Alaska time or Pacific so be on the lookout for us.

As you know we are currently on the Eurodam. It's 10:50 AM (Alaska time) and we are in Gastineau Channel. The captain nad cruise director have both said we'll be docked by noon. So far there are high clouds but blue sky is peeking through.

You are just going by Thane - maybe 10-15 minutes to see Eurodam.

 

It's clear in Juneau - but as usual the camera is panning.

Kdam about 20 -25 minutes behind Eurodam , if she doesn't turn off again west this week.

It's quite nice here today - so far. Rain is in the forecast but so far the sun is shining through and it's quite mild temperature wise - for Juneua. The ship is serving an express lunch in the dining room of wild cot cod fish and chips. Haven't decided if that's where we're going or just the Lido. We'll let the crowds get off before we do. BTW there are about 1500 passengers this week.

I believe that Kdam is slower than the X Edge in FLL/PEV.

Kdam really close now - and with a huge raindrop covering up the docking, I'm leaving.
