Late flight MCO post cruise - what to do all day?

We have already arranged a shuttle back to MCO in Nov. Our flight isn't until after 9pm. Any ideas on what to do for the day? Thank you!

Since your flight is so late, I'd cancel the shuttle and instead rent a car. There is a car rental near the port, and you could do a one-way rental and drop it off at MCO.

 

Then you'd have all day to explore on your own. Go to Kennedy Space Center! It's open 9-5, so would be a great way to kill the entire day. Then you'd still have plenty of time to drive to MCO, as well as get dinner before your flight.

Go to Disney Springs.  No tickets needed.  Plenty of food options, activities for kids, adult beverages, shopping.

Rent a car, visit one of the theme parks, or go to disney springs.

the Hyatt in the airport usually does day rooms ...... if you just want to crash ... they have a nice rooftop pool too . . . easy to get food from their rest' or any of the places in the airport's main food court.

I am against Disney Springs. Waste of money, overly crowded, and no longer fun to go to. That is pretty much all Disney is anymore. If that is your thing then go for it. I would recommend renting a car, go to KSC, and do things on your own.

I would rent a car at the port instead of a shuttle. Then you can do what you want until checkin time.

It doesn't cost a thing to walk around.  The crowds don't show until evening.

The hotel in the airport was fantastic. I think we got there by 9:30. Had the whole day to sit at the pool. Eat, shop at the airport. Shower, take a nap before flight at 6. I would do this again.
