Amsterdam Bulb Fields Excursion

I am thinking of booking a 4 day mini cruise in April / May specifically to visit the Amsterdam Kugenhof Gardens and bulbfields. 

Would anyone know if P&O organise a ship s excursion there ? 

If not how easy would it be to get there ?

At that time of year, there will almost certainly be an excursion to Keukenhof, assuming your ship gets to Ijmuden or Amsterdam - not always guaranteed if weather is poor.

A few years back we did a trip with P&O to Keukenhof from Amsterdam. I expect that they would still do them.

They did them from Rotterdam in April this year.

I would say almost definitely. We were moved to Rotterdam from Amsterdam and the excursion still went ahead. Enjoy yourself it is very spectacular.

We visited kerkenhoff, on an organised tour with P and O in April from Rotterdam

 

 it was a half day excursion, and for most people that’s probably enough time, but it is about an hour each way on the coach

 

it’s a really impressive sight, and if you’re into gardens or gardening I’d recommend it
