Going from Heathrow to Bath, Bath to Southampton, which car company to hire? Hotel Info?

We will be flying into the Heathrow airport a day before our cruise starts. Would like to visit Bath. Thinking of hiring a car transfer for the 2 of us. We are flying to Heathrow airport from an overnight flight from Canada, so would not consider taking the train or coach after that. Could anyone suggest a reasonable car transfer company that we can hire to take us from Heathrow airport to a hotel in Bath. And the next day from Bath to Southampton to start our cruise.

Any reasonable clean hotels in Bath that is within walking distance to visit the major sites in Bath you can recommend? 

What are the must see in Bath?

I have often read recommendations there for a company called Blackberry Cars although I have not used them myself.

Though you can't bath in the original spas, there is a modern version which we enjoyed

1. Leonardo Royal Hotel Southampton is usually pretty good but gets booked up early ( opposite the Holiday Inn )

 

2. Holiday Inn ( you can watch the ships sail in from this hotel if you’re about early enough )

Lots of good hotels in Bath including Hilton & IHG options if you have status. Not cheap though given its popularity with tourists. It’s a small city and everything is easily walkable.

We have used Blackberry cars twice pre covid. Great company, friendly driver, clean car and well priced. Driver met us right outside baggage claim, took my wife's suit case and carryon, walked us to a no charge ATM and on to the hotel in Kingston, three days later used them again Kingston to Southampton. Highly recommend by me..
