VegasTW Posted September 18, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2022 Hello CC friends! After canceling several cruises, as many of you probably did as well ... we are about 60 days away and this one is going to happen! I can't tell you how excited I am. I feel like with all my "cruising" the CC forums (sorry, bad joke), and other research I've been doing, I'm enjoying my vacation already. With 10 sea days (yes...amazing, right?), there will be plenty of doing nothing. However, in the interest of not gaining 20 pounds, does the fitness center offer complimentary yoga or stretching classes? I do plan on doing plenty of walking on deck. Have to mitigate my culinary goals on the cruise somehow. And I'm not a huge fan of intense cardio on a machine. Haha - I can do the math. But something is better than nothing. Thanks! Rare 2012_Alaska_bound Posted September 18, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2022 Yes, they do. Go up to the fitness center the first day and they will have the class schedule.
Rare wishIweretravelling Posted September 19, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2022 There also is a little corner in Passages that lists the fitness classes for each day.
xrvlcruiser Posted September 20, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 20, 2022 Too early. 8am is more reasonable.
mom0f3 Posted September 20, 2022 #5 Share Posted September 20, 2022 We had difficulty signing up for fitness class on Explorer—they were always filled! They put out a sign up sheet the afternoon before, and if we didn’t manage to get there early, all slots were taken. Sometimes we’d come down in the morning anyway to see if there were no shows, but that wasn’t common. I’d say out of 10 times we wanted to go to Yoga we only got in 3. We didn’t like their sign up method at all, as it required making a special trip to the fitness center and getting there at the right time before all the slots were filled. We thought they could have developed a fairer way to provide access if the slots were limited and demand was high.
VegasTW Posted September 30, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted September 30, 2022 Thanks all! Glad to see that they have options. I agree, it would be nice to be able to reserve space without having to stop by every day.

Perhaps something along the lines of the speciality restaurants - each person can only book a certain number of classes then if there is space, can book extra ones say one hour before the class starts (for example).
