Hope it works out for you. We used to use this hotel a few years ago...even for one night we now opt for Hyatt Place.

@Ashland I’m just not worried about it. Pre-cruise hotel stay is just nice and easy, shuttle to ship next day and I’m on vacay for 14 days

It would be cheaper to use a taxi...they'll be lined up outside the front door and it can be on your timeframe. Just a suggestion...but do what you want and enjoy your cruise.

We are Best Western members.  There is a BW Ft. Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port on W. State Rd.  King room $258.00.  The Hyatt that is popular was sold out for April 2023 a long time ago. If you like German food, there is a place that is a few blocks away.

Staying at Crown Plaza. Right across the street from the cruise port entrance.  Nice pool and breakfast.

We are staying at Staybridge Suites in Davie.....like the suite for the price....I have not seen this site come up at all....pros/cons?

It's quite far away from the port. During rush hour traffic, give yourself 45 minutes to an hour.

Morning from around 7 am to 9 am headed eastbound (to port). Afternoon 3 pm to 7 pm westbound (from Port to Davie). Traffic is pretty heavy all day. It took me about 30 minutes to get from Davie to the airport mid-day.

which Crowne Plaza is that? We are staying there, but it's not "right across the street from the cruise port entrance", although it's close to the port.
