All food is subjective, of course, but totally agree with @cruiseny4life regarding La Cucina's pizza - better than anything on the ship and better than a lot of land restaurants.  Nope, not Brooklyn's finest nor <insert your favorite place>, but pretty good.  I like a char on the pie, so I ask for it that way.

Agree here too.  Cagney's not "all that".  Their sides are like a spoonful of food, at best.  Best thing there are these apps: the ahi tuna tartare and the tiger shrimp.

Any vegetarians looking for some good proteins? On Prima the Rosemary Lentils side in Onda and the Giant Beans side in Palomar were both delicious.

I know you are talking about specialty restaurants, but Lotus Garden, a complimentary Asian restaurant has the best calamari and pot stickers.

This is the Best Thread Ever.  Thank you- I am getting some wonderful ideas.  

 

And not remotely luxe, or anything like that, but when they had cream of cauliflower soup in the buffet, I ate 4 bowls of it.

The filet at La Cucina is better than any I’ve had at Cagney’s. And that peppercorn sauce and the blue cheese ravioli…perfect! Also, bread at Ocean Blue. So good!

The shrimp skewers were better than anything barbeque in Q.  Also the miniature lamb chops in Food Republic were delish.
