Hi there,

Go easy on me please.

Going on my second Celebrity cruise soon (last one was 2015).

Im Elite and noticed that I have discounts on Internet and drinks package.

It says "30% off Wi-Fi package or Wi-Fi upgrade
15% off Drink Package or upgrade to Premium pre-cruise"

Ok so a few questions. Are the prices Im seeing online including this Elite discount? Or do I have to do something to get the extra percentage off?

Also, can I use the 15% off on any drinks package or does it have to be the alcoholic one?

Thanks so much!

The prices you are seeing do not include the discount.  You need to call before cruising to get it.  Have gotten discount off non alcoholic packages.

To get the discount you have to Call into Captain's Club.  Alternatively you can wait until on the ship.   Internet shows up in the app with discounted price and just click the one you want.   Same for Drink Packages -  any bar will do it for you and apply your discount.

So what is being suggested here? If you have earned Elite status are you suggesting it is cheaper to book the cruise fare that is not “all in” and then purchase the beverage package and wifi separately after you board? How does the prepurchased tips included in the all-in price play into the decision?

No, most times booking with AI is less expensive than booking cruise only and then:

paying the gratuities $17 pp per day

purchasing the Classic Alcohol package ($69 pp per day +20% gratuity) even with the Elite discount reducing that price

purchasing a basic internet package at $20 per day
