Confused - Do I need to use Verifly for a December cruise?

I am booked to sail in 3 weeks time; going through the online check in it says no vax/no test required. It also asks us to upload our vax cars to Verifly.  Is Verifly a required portion of check-in, can we simply bring our cards with us and show them at the terminal? I had issues w Verifly on our last cruise and so if it is not required would rather bypass using it, but unsure of what current cruisers are doing

You NEVER needed to use Verifly. It was never required.

So I can just answer the check in questions on HAL Website and bring my docs with me to the terminal; treat it like a "normal" cruise.

Yep. Worked just fine for our 3 cruises since February. We never used Verifly.

We just returned last week from a cruise on the Koningsdam and they asked for nothing other than our boarding pass and passport.   No questions about vaccination cards or Covid tests.  It's as if Covid is over and done with.

Did you use Verifly before your cruise or no?

I embarked on the koningsdam on Nov 12.  There is no more verifly.  I had mine ready.  It was a waste of time.

People were doing it to board by being in a shorter line.  While you were not REQUIRED to do it, it could speed up the process.  As I recall it wasn't being used in Europe.

We were in a shorter line in Oct out of San Diego.
