Super Bowl on the Beyond

Does anyone know if the Super Bowl on February 12 will be shown in the theater with food provided?.. I know they've done it in the past but I'm a little concerned due to covid concerns.

I'm sure they'll do it. As a fellow New Yorker I don't see either our local teams getting there (although of course Buffalo is technically the only real New York team). So, go Bills!

Beyond is in port in Ft Lauderdale that day. We are cruising the week of Feb. 5 -12. Thinking it might be on the big screen in the Rooftop Garden. That where they showed the game between the Bengals and the Chiefs on Jan.30, 2021

Unless things change dramatically Covid concerns are a thing of the past, no mask required, no social distancing, packed Silent Dico, theater shows, elevators and bars.

I was on Wonder during the golf masters and trust me they will do what they can to get the feed and show on the ship.

While on Oasis recently, we got the feed from ESPN a half hour late for the World Series.

The bar guys apologized a lot for half hour and then next day the CD also mentioned they are sometimes at the mercy of the live feed to the ships.  I am betting 99.9% chance you will get to see it and I be the ship will also try to have it in many locations.

In 2020 it was in the theater. We were in New Zealand, so the crowd was small. Celebrity put on a fantastic spread for that game.

 

On a ship right now (constellation) and it is pretty full. No masks, even for the crew (we were on the Connie last month and the crew was still mostly masked).

I can say 100% certain it WILL NOT be in the main theater. Craft Social and the Rooftop Garden, yes. Maybe even in the Club. But for sure NOT in the main theater.
