A little late to the party…my thoughts on Mardi Gras! Lotsa pix! The Great, the Good, and the slightly annoying

Breakfast at Pig and Anchor. Every morning there was a small buffet here. We enjoyed the selections , including a Mexican style breakfast casserole. This area was never super busy and with the patio pool just outside - bonus!
Early risers don’t have many breakfast options on this ship. This buffet and most others don’t open until 0800. Thankfully coffee is available many places early.

Thank you for posting a photo of the breakfast at Pig & Anchor.  I've been looking everywhere for a menu of what they have for breakfast.  Did you ever have breakfast in the main dining room?  If so, how was it?

Thanks for the review.

Our family was together over last weekend and we were discussing our annual family vacation for 2024.  We all decided the grand kids were old enough to enjoy a cruise.  We were in a toss up between RC Wonder OTS and Carnival Mardi Gras.  Mardi Gras was about HALF the cost of similar cabins on RC, so no brainer!

We (DW & I) and DD#2 (and her DH, DD & DS) both booked this morning, Us in an Ocean suite and DD's crew in a Family Harbor Suite.

Now the bothersome waiting!  We sadly have NO cruise booked for this year, as DW started a new job in November and has minimal vacation time.  But now we have TWO cruises booked for 2024!

Really loved this Java Blue… so many free food items and even a grab and go case with free salads, fruit, granola, etc

We enjoyed Java Blue several times without spending any additional money since they also have a complimentary drink station there. with coffee, hot chocolate and water\ice. The location of this area on deck 6 , the lowest level of center stage was brilliant and very intuitive.

sounds good!

there was something similar on a Princess ship we sailed, and it was not intuitive at all... there was one big combined line and display cases where some items were free and some were not. It was so frustrating.
