Rotterdam

A new ship named "Rotterdam" did enter service a couple of years ago (I don't remember precisely). This one is Rotterdam VII. It has the same name as the previous Rotterdam VI, which entered service in 1997, and follows the same basic interior design as the other R-class ships and the former S-class ships.

DH and I have sailed on the Rotterdam 4 times since she debuted in 2021. Love, love it.

Only complaints are the way too loud music in the Blues venue, smaller Neptune Suites, and the tiny casino.

Food is superior in the Tamarind, Rudi's Sel de Mer, Canaletto, and the Lido Marketplace. Have never eaten in the main dining room. The decor is modern and understated, great crew.

Is there a hydro therapy pool on the Rotterdam ?

If so , will they let purchase a weekly or cruise long pass to use it ?

Thanks

All HAL ships have the hydrotherapy pool. Yes, you can purchase a pass for the entire cruise, as on all HAL ships.

One significant difference between Rotterdam and the other 2 Pinnacle ships is a different lifeboat mounting design which allows her to enter the Panama Canal (new locks).  She will be doing some partial Panama Canal cruises in 2024.

@djptcp Good to know, as we are on the Rotterdam in May. Recently cruised on the Noordam, and were a bit disappointed in the food.
