You could apply the gift card to your stateroom as OBC, then just charge the casino to your cabin.

Exactly what Native said. That's the way we do it. A gift card is good for anything, and everything, if you add it to your stateroom OBC. You can do this at the Customer Service, to avoid any 'on-line' problems. Customer Service is usually no waiting very late in the evenings, and it's 24 hours. If no one is standing there, just call out. Someone is always in the back, to help you.

Is it possible to turn my gift card into onboard credit before the cruise? Could I do it online somehow? I've searched the website but couldn't find anything. I'd like to pre-book a couple things using my gift card $ but can't figure it out. Thanks for any tips!

@lizinindyi booked all mine with a gift card -

after you put items in the cart there is an option to put in the gift card number.

 

I don’t believe you can do a split payment of credit card and gift card, but can use 2 different gift cards on the same order

Sorry that I am late to this thread, but was wondering when you apply the gift card to your onboard account and then you apply some of amount to your casino "bank" and at the end of the cruise you still have a casino bank balance can you "cash out"?

Buy OBC with the gift card. Put a slot charge on the room key.
