Onward balcony partition

Traveling with good friends in continent suites 8048 and 8046.   Can the glass partition between verandas be opened so we can sit together?   Celebrity did this for us on the Solstice.

Never seen it done except for maintenance of the veranda.

None of the balcony partions will be opened for guests because unlike those on Celebrity they cannot be secured and it's a safety risk when the ship is under sail. I've asked before.

I can understand why, once on boarding we found ours broken with jagged edges,   very dangerous, don't know why the steward had not reported it.

They came and rep!aced it once I had reported it.

I have seen balcony partitions open linking two veranda plus cabins at the back of the ship when in port and during sail away.
