can I use Visa Gift cards on the Mardi Gras

Hi , I going on the Mardi Gras with my Grand Kids & wanted to give them gift cards to pay for the arcade & The Bolt . Can they bring them to guest services & apply they to there sign & sail card ?

I would go to the grocery store and get some carnival gift cards. Second best one to get would be MasterCard or Visa gift cards.

I can only tell you from my experience:  on our June Magic cruise I went to GS to have 2 $100 visa gift cards applied to my account.  To my surprise the person helping me said they no longer are able to add them to my account.  My response "I have been doing it for at least my past 15 CCL cruises - all of a sudden it changed?"  Their response "yes."  Thinking maybe it was an un-informed person at the desk I went back early the next a.m. and again was turned away by someone else.  For my upcoming cruise (Saturday) I found CCL gift cards at Bed, Bath and Beyond and purchased those months ago.
