Furniture in Aft Penthouse Suite

The last time we were on the Gem in the Aft Penthouse they had taken out the soft chair.  We are going on the Pearl in May and I saw a recent picture and the chair and coffee table were not there.  Is there really less furniture or is it just the photo ?

We were in a aft penthouse on the Gem Jan 20 and we had the bed, loveseat/bed, table and chairs.

To clarify for the OP, you mean January 2020, three years ago, before the last dry dock this past December.  We’re on the Gem right now. I can’t speak to the aft penthouse, but the soft chair in the forward penthouse has no arms and is ridiculously deep. The public spaces that were refreshed during the dry dock look nice, but most of the chairs and sofas (especially in the Spinnaker) are very low, or very hard, or very deep. It’s as though NCL went shopping at a store specializing in uncomfortable furniture.

As of last July, the Pearl aft penthouses on deck 10 had the small "sofa" that can be made into a bed.

Sounds like the coffee table and soft chair have been taken out of the aft penthouses.
