@EngIceDave late to the show but thankfully when following a live review you can board at any port, no visas needed!  Just starting but have been interested in the integration of the Costa ship to this hybrid Carnival experience.

I love the repeat of MDR in the buffet! Just me. I would usually rather sample a bit of everything on the quick instead of the hour routine and committing to one entree. I want to try it all!
 

Except when I prefer to sit for an hour and be served like a princess, of course.

Totally agree.  I find that the amount of quirky in your pictures represents the exact percentage I need in order to be entertained.  It's literally all the things I would probably look at!

we're about 60 miles from Honolulu and now at a dead stop....dont know why

TV map says we're moving at 4kts....more like floating along at 4kts

Quantum of the Seas and you, Carnival Luminosa are the two ships on the schedule for tomorrow for Honolulu. And I think there are only two terminals, Pier 2, and Pier 11. Remember you are arriving a day ahead of schedule.  Regatta is scheduled for Hilo tomorrow. So I am guessing you are waiting for Oceania Regatta to leave at 6pm so that you can have Pier 2 and they are probably keeping Pier 11 open for Quantum tomorrow morning. 

 

Hence your current pokiness.
