Purchasing a drinks package

I've purchased a drinks package and was quite looking forward to having a few glasses of wine on my cabin's balcony during the 'at sea" days.

However I believe I have to trek to the bar every time I want to fill up my glass.  Is there a way around this?

Much will depend on the cruise line and cabin category to see if room service beverages are included in the drinks package.

You may want to check on the sub forum for the cruise line, or contact them directly.

Thank you for this response, room service temperatures are not included in the drinks package that I've purchased.

Some lines do allow you to bring one bottle of wine onboard per person, so you can check on that. Whether or not you'll have to pay a corkage fee will depend on the cruise line as well.

Just think of it as a good way to burn off the calories of each drink while getting the next 🙂

You could always buy a bottle, likely having the drink package gives you a discount.

Our Carnival “Cheers” package allowed us to purchase a bottle to take to the room.  The 25% discount brought the price per glass well below the “bar” price.  For spirits we need to take the 5 minute walk to the bar.

Princess' medallion allows you to order anything delivered anywhere, so we had no trouble ordering drinks delivered to the room.  I was really surprised, but they're probably figured this out by now.  OTOH, it's Princess, so who knows?
