Had a premier offer 500 funchips 200 deposit to onboard credit and added my stock 100$ because I upgraded to balcony 10418.  Was my wifes birthday so lets go. Then I realized it was Easter week so travel from sw Michigan was an issue. Ended up flying from South Bend to Sarasota on Allegiant. My sister lives south of there so stayed with my sister for a day took flix bus to Miami for 120$ round trip for 2. Arrived at 130 on ship at 2. did the muster thing in the casino. The Bus worked but its a bus. Car rental one way was 600$.  Explored and did sail away from serenity deck.  Went back to room, suit case was there unpacked and sat on balcony till dinner, had plenty of room and it was covered. Did app for anytime dining said less then 10 minutes, great, said that 3 more times. ended up with an aft table and a great dinner. Eat 3 times here 2nd was lobster day, Thursday, no wait and casino comped us wine or steakhouse selection. We went with surf and turf ,was great. To be continued

ok I'm going to do this starting with entertainment.  First production at center stage was A night of enchantment, center stage. I really enjoyed this because the Celestial strings are great. sat in stadium type seating that made the bus seem like luxury, horrible. site lines are a problem because its like watching I max from the 9th row, cant see all that going on. Watched part of other production at center stage and the songs and graphics all seemed the same. The small productions around the ship were the best..The strings and Roman on the piano also the acoustics and solos were good. saw color my world at the grand spectrum and it sound like the same songs and really didn't make much sense  Wife left after yellow. Saw 1 pg comedy and he was great tried other times but full so moved on  Rock band sounded good in the Pig and Anchor.  Only thing I heard late in night in the room. They played till 2am.stillfell asleep but maybe the only thing about the room that you may consider. Food next

Ok food, main dining room was good fast service, had brunch once also good.  Bonsai sushi was very good as usual, Big chicken was great need to add this to other ships also the Emerils bistro. This was my favorite and hope the add this to other ships also. Pig and anchor is very good for dinner and we started having our breakfast down there, its a smaller version of the lido with better coffee. We waited maybe 15 minutes for dinner and was given a pager. sat in comfy couch in the veteran tribute area. This is the best area to watch sports. Good bar many tvs. Guy burgers, pizza also good. Ordered room service twice for coffee and Danish on the balcony. Did not order any pay items. any questions ask away, will try to answer. Next up the casino and premier club gifts. Warning $15 dollar craps table.

Ok casino. Had 500 fun chips to collect, went to cage and asked for chips. Receive 5 $100 chips to be turned into $25 and $5s at table. Table was packed so did a few slots. Hilda the beer gal slots pored me lots of beer first to days,up 300 plus. Slots seemed to get tight after that so lost most of that back. Craps table $15 min all cruise and very busy, Played most in the afternoon. Crazy money being bet. Managed to keep all my fun chip money plus $100 or so. Again table cold last 2 days but that's just random. The app shows slot and table points up to date, go to casino then my profile and boom its there ended up with 2000 so I guess ill keep get offers. Gifts were cookie plate day 4 packing pod things. floppy hats steak house food in main dining room many free drinks .  Did 2 prize games, didn't win anything Casino is  big, drinks at table came quick, good people at the craps table as always. Looked like other games were 10 $ min. Next up ports

Amber cove first stop was planning to just hang out but also in port was the Norwegian oncore? a huge ship. So the pool was full and not many chairs. Walked around shops and grass area. Not very colorful or any gardens to speak of. Walked to the bar at the top of the hill and back to the ship to sit in the whirlpool and soak my feet. San Juan next was good walked with my sore feet to the fort and more walking though old town. Back to the ship to eat and rest.  St Martins My wife had a kayak snorkel trip but it was raining and lighting ever now and then so took the ferry  to the town and beach. Did a quick swim in between the storms and got back on ship. Water was maybe 74 or so just a little warmer then the pools on ship. Next the room, ship in general debarkation.

Final thoughts, room was a good location. stairs to 7 and 8 decks elevator to 18 and above. room 10418. Met my steward quickly and asked for an ice bucket and robes. both were there after returning from dinner. Saw him every day at least once and he called us by our first names.  Ship is big but easy to get around unless you turn the wrong was which I did a few times. Passengers were polite even the children and there were many.Saw a chair hog in the shade on serenity that took it to a new level. They padlocked a bookbag to the chair. Bars are plentiful The latitudes was great and had various music to listen to. The Golden jubilee had the classic piano Roman, very good. Think it was Saturday he did a set with the strings, catch it if you can. Pools cold whirlpools perfecto. No site lines for dive in movie from above, the rail is in you face. Another engineering error. My  bus back was at 2pm so we did the Everglades adventure and airport transfer. This worked well. Debark is quick for all. two lines one birth certificate and other passports. You stare at the screen and they say thank you, no passport needed unless they have an issue.  Would I sail this ship again, maybe, would I go during spring break, no.  Ask a question and I may be able to give you and answer, The end.

When we’re the formal nights?

Was lobster available both of these nights in the main dining room?

As far as what people wore on formal nights, did you notice several people just in khakis/button up shirt or were the vast majority done up in tuxes/suits?

second formal night was Friday i believe. It is the one with the lobster, only prime rib first formal one. Saw many suits and a couple of tuxes. It was not crowded at all. I had the comped surf and turf that day. Saw no shorts or ball caps everyone looked well dressed.

Thanks- we were on her in January and will be again in a month.  We had a balcony in January and will have an ocean view in May.  Good information- I didn't realize Pig and Anchor had breakfast but that sounds perfect!  Will have to give it a try this time around.   We too enjoyed a couple of the big lobby area shows but found the viewing and sight lines to be really difficult.  For the magic type show there were people staking out seats a couple of hours early - all the down in front seats were roped off until closer to show time.

Dive in movies the same thing- if you aren't early it may be hard to find a good view for a popular movie.
