Port Canaveral, Pre-Cruise Traffic & Rental car return

 Share

Recommended Posts

We will be staying in Cocoa Beach pre-cruise and will return our rental car to Enterprise at the port prior to our Saturday May 20th cruise.  There will be three ships in port: Disney Fantasy, Norwegian Getaway & RCL Mariner.

As it's our first sailing from PC, can anyone advise us if there could be heavy traffic?

We would like to drop our rental car at the port at an early time (to avoid long wait) before taking their shuttle to our terminal.

Any advice greatly appreciated😊

If you're in Cocoa Beach then you'll just be a few minutes from Port Canaveral. I assume you'll be beachside and would travel north on SR A1A through Cape Canaveral to Port Canaveral. Might be a few commuters headed to Orlando on the road but I doubt you'll run into any heavy traffic.

  • 2 weeks later...

there's a slew of properties near the port that have opened in the past few years .... just need to research a bit.

This one is among the newest ....  Hampton Inn Suites and Home2 in one building sharing pool etc .....PortCHome2.jpg.a85e039d1d137ab3a7bf6a488817b7c8.jpg
