Transdermal Scopolamine patches - 8 years old still effective ?

Found old but still sealed scopolamine transdermal patches prescribed 8 years ago.

 

Going on a week long Mediterranean cruise next week and wondered if they will still work ?

I also found Canadian transdermal patches I got whilst in Canada without a prescription that expired 4 years ago.

 

Was a nice fishing trip before the pandemic - caught lots of spotted prawns and a few halibut....

Is there not a ‘use by’ date on the box or package?

3-5 years after expiration.

 

Just ordered a new Rx from my doctor.

Sometimes depends on storage all those years.  Heat wreaks havoc on medications. And off subject, diet beverages stored in a garage in an Arizona summer are just not the same!
