Well that is just crazy, as of course they've got fresh food on board.  Fruit, veggies, salad etc. etc.

If true I wonder what they will do with all the chilled storage areas they have on board. I went on a Ventura behind the scenes tour a few years ago and one part of  a deck was full of food  storage areas. Palket loads of sacks of potatoes and every veg you could think of, boxes of all sorts of fish, and meat storage areas. Maybe that's where they are putting all the cheap saver inside cabin fare passengers!!!

On my last cruise one guest kept insisting that the after formal dinner chocolates had been made on board when obviously they were run of the mill high Street (think Thorntons post take over.

Anyway I much prefer frozen vegetables. Far nicer, fuller of vitamins and micronutrients, and better texture than 'fresh' veg that has been in the fridge for a week.
