Navigator Staff

Recommended Posts

There are new people on all the ships...paired up with experienced staff. It is an effective means of teaching the new staff as quickly as possible. An unavoidable result of the high attrition rate due to Covid.

We're new to Regent and are on the June 11th Montreal/NYC cruise. Any feedback on the staff mentioned? Sounds like some are new. Is that a good thing?

We have been onboard since 21April with a few crew changes here and there across various departments.  No issues on our part.  Can't say enough about the crew!  We'll still be here when you join. Be ready to get pampered.  Little glitch could be a bit slow service in CR at dinner.  But to be honest, we don't go for the "30 Minute Meal." We enjoy the relaxation.

Efficient, friendly Staff at all venues, as usual.  Food and Beverage Manager Brandon Haylock particularly of note.  Pleasant dinner with him a few nights ago.  He picks up on the "little things" as to quality of wines.  Followed his lead in this regard.

Looking forward to tomorrow's wine pairing luncheon which he is coordinating.

GOARMY!

Hope you enjoy that luncheon as much as we did on the last 3 segments. We opted out this time as the menu was identical to one of those we attended....and to give others the opportunity 😂

Off topic, but are the fires affecting anything?

On Navigator now.  The only challenges we've had so far are weather and sea conditions affecting times, etc.  Missed Bar Harbor due to unsafe tendering.  Missed Corner Brook due to ice in the area so we are in Charlottetown today.  We shall see how/if the wind carries smoke to Baie Comeau. Quebec City, Montreal.
