Dock Location - Marseille

Where does Azamara usually dock in Marseille?  The port is quite large with some docks closer to the Vieux Port than others.

Usually Azamara docks very close to the cathedral and Museum.

Several years ago we were docked at a more industrial location about 15 minutes from the usual handy spot.

 

It was no problem as there was a constant free shuttle. Apparently, as Riocca points out, that docking location is an anomaly.

We may have been on the same cruise!

Other times we have docked close to the Cathedral.

I cannot find the history of our cruises on the Azamara site and I now realize that my own cruise records are in a shambles, but I think our visit to Marseilles was on a B2B in June of 2018. 
More research on my part is needed.

 

We really enjoyed Marseilles on a DIY tour. The Cathedral visit alone was memorable.

Last time we were in Marseilles was early October 2018, docked close to the Cathedral which was fortunate, as it was all one could do to stay upright in the very strong windy conditions!
