While Celebrity has long been the most prolific email marketer in my inbox, they've really gone off the deep end. Since Sunday I've gotten 32 unsolicited marketing emails. Nothing to do with any booked cruises or even newsletters or power up points, simply marketing. Over 5 a day is simply ridiculous.

The downside of unsubscribing to marketing is that you will also not receive MoveUp offers and PowerUp.

 

Instead I create a rule to move all mail from Celebrity into a folder.   I occasionally review and then just empty the folder.

Yes, Celebrity is absolutely spamming us and it's not necessary.  I wish they would stop. Just send me your best offer once a week and while that's more than I need, at least it's acceptable.  The ONLY reason I haven't unsubscribed is the MoveUp offers and PowerUp.

It beats the male enhancement spam that I get. But then again, the day I stop getting them will be a bad sign for me.
