Dining making reservation

Going on the new Ascent, 2nd sailing in November.  Went into reservation and attempted to get a time for dinner, won’t allow me to do that.  How far in advance does this normally go live?

I seem to recall that they were no longer allowing MDR reservations on E Class ships as with 4 to choose from there should be limited waiting....

We booked reservations for the 1st 2 nights on the Ascent.  We did it on the website not the app. 
 

While there is no traditional ( fixed) dining on the E class some guests (or TA) book that, maybe in error and that blocks making reservations for Select Dining.  OP check which dining your booking shows.

The reports a few weeks ago were that even where people had made reservations, they were being told they were not being used once on board, but who knows, these things can change rapidly...

 

If they can still be made they should be at the bottom of the webpage below the speciality dining options in the cruise planner.

That’s exactly what happened. Booked us into fixed dining. I noticed it on the paperwork and got it changed and able to book now.  Thank you

When we were onboard, there were no reservations for the dining rooms.  You just show up to the dining room of your choice.  There was a notice that there were no reservations for the standard dining rooms.  Of course, you needed reservations for the Specialty Restaurants.
